Orders, Pickups, & Policies

How do orders and pickups work?

Risen Loaves operates primarily through our website, complemented by local interactions with our community, which we truly value. Due to our business model and the perishable nature of our baked goods, we accept online pre-orders only.

The available pickup location and time window will be shown during checkout before your order is submitted. While we aim to keep pickup times and locations consistent each week, occasional adjustments may occur.

We encourage customers to create an account on our website to easily track orders and access their purchase history. Please be sure to arrive on time at the selected pickup location to collect your products, as our baked goods are prepared fresh for each pickup.

What happens if I don’t pick up my order?

Orders must be picked up during the scheduled time window selected at checkout. Because our products are freshly baked and made specifically for each order, we are not responsible for orders that are not picked up or are picked up late, and missed pickups cannot be refunded or rescheduled. If you anticipate an issue, please contact us via our Contact page as soon as possible, and we will do our best to assist when possible.

How can I cancel my order?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, orders can only be canceled if they have not yet been processed. If preparation has already begun, cancellation may not be possible.

You can track your order status online by creating an account on our website. To request a cancellation, please contact us via our Contact page and include your full name, order number, and reason. We will do our best to assist you.

How About The Return Policy?

Because our products are freshly baked and perishable, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless there is a verified error on our part.

How To Purchase A Gift Card?

We currently do not offer gift cards. Once gift cards become available, we will share updates on our website and in our weekly newsletter, so stay tuned!

What's The Coupon Codes Policy?

We share coupon codes through our website and weekly newsletter. Coupons can be applied at checkout and must be entered exactly as provided. Each coupon has its own terms and conditions, including expiration dates, product exclusions, and usage limits. Only one coupon code can be used per order, and discounts cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated. Coupons are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be applied to past purchases.

Products, Policies & Special Orders

Can I return, exchange or Reschedule my order?

Because our products are freshly baked and perishable, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless there is a verified error on our part.

Rescheduling pickups is not something we typically offer. If you anticipate being unable to pick up your order, please contact us via our Contact page as soon as possible. While we will do our best to assist, rescheduling is not guaranteed and cannot be promised.

How does your order return process work?

Refunds are only issued if there is a verified error on our part. Because our products are freshly baked and perishable, we cannot offer refunds for any other reason. If a verified error occurs, we will initiate a refund and send you an email notification.

Typically, refunds take 5–10 business days to appear on your bank statement, which is standard for most payment processors. In some cases, it may take up to 20 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

Do you have sales on your website?

Yes! Products on sale are displayed directly on the home page and in our online store. In addition, we send a weekly newsletter featuring sales, special offers, and coupons—so be sure to subscribe to stay updated.

Do you have a retailer in my country?

Currently, we do not have any physical retailers. Risen Loaves operates from home under the San Diego Cottage Food License, and all orders are fulfilled directly through our website.

You can find us at various farmers’ markets and local events. We’ll post updates on our website and share details in our weekly newsletter, so you can stay informed about where and when we’ll be appearing next.

Where can I find Risen Loaves locally?

What shipping methods are available?

Currently, we do not offer shipping—all orders are available for Saturday pickups only. As our business grows, we plan to explore shipping options, so stay tuned for updates!

Can I Make Adjustments to My Pre-Order?

No, once a pre-order is submitted, changes or adjustments cannot be made.

Do You Bake Everything Yourself?

Yes! My husband and I personally bake every item ourselves. As a small family-run business, we treat our customers with the same care and attention we give to our own family. While we take great pride in every order, occasional hiccups may happen—thank you for your grace, understanding, and support.

Do You Take Custom Orders?

Yes! If you are interested in placing a custom order, please reach out to us via our Contact page. We’d love to hear from you and work something out.

For custom orders, we typically request a minimum of 15 loaves for bread and 3 dozen for cookies.

Are your products suitable for individuals with allergies?

Our bakery products may contain common allergens such as gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy, and while we take care to prevent cross-contact, our kitchen is not allergen-free.

Each product label includes allergen information and ingredient lists, so please review these carefully before ordering. All products are consumed at your own risk, and we recommend consulting a healthcare professional if you have severe allergies.
